Eugowra Golden Eagles hosted Peak Hill on the Ian Walsh football field last Sunday with JJ Wykamp opening the scoring for Eugowra when he pushed his way over the line under the posts.

Mitch Hutchings made sure of the kick – Eugowra 6-0.
Just a few minutes late Mitch Hutchings scored and converted his own try- 12-0 to Eugowra.
Peak Hill kept the pressure on Eugowra with a converted try- Eugowra 12- Peak Hill 6.
Following a kick through Peak Hill regained the ball to score and convert with seven minutes left in the first half. Score now 12 all.
With four minutes left on the clock Peak Hill pushed their way over for a try which they didn't convert. Peak Hill now lead Eugowra 16-12.
With the ball still in play after the half-time bell went Mitch Hutchings crossed the line- the kick was waved away. Half time score was 16-all.
JJ Wykamp was the first to score in the second half, and with the kick right in front, Mitch Hutchings converted to bring the score to Eugowra 22-16.
Mitch Hutchings sneaked his way through the Peak Hill defence to score and with his kick successful brought the score to Eugowra 28-16.
Peak Hill came back with a try near the post and with the kick successful the score became Eugowra 28-Peak Hill 22.
Eugowra came back sending Damien Doollan under the posts, and with an easy kick for Mitch Hutchings Eugowra now 34- 22.
Peak Hill kept the pressure on Eugowra with a great kick across the field Peak Hill took a perfect catch to cross near the corner.
The kick from out wide was successful. The score was now Eugowra 34- 28 with 15 minutes of the match remaining.
Toby Tanks wrestled his way over the line and with the kick waved away the score was now Eugowra 38- 28 with 13 minutes remaining.
Peak Hill then crossed for an easy try under the posts.
The kick was successful the score then became Eugowra 38- to Peak Hill 34. This was the final score of the match.
Next weekend Eugowra will play in round 15 of the Woodbridge Cup, playing against Trundle in first grade, league tag and youth league at Trunde.
