While it’s going to be tight for fans hoping to catch the action at both clubs, Platypi club president Tracy Prior is excited about the day.
“It’s great for Forbes to be so competitive,” she said.
She’s thrilled Forbes will contest the major semi-finals in both first and second grades saying there’s a good vibe at the club.

At Spooner Oval, play begins with the league tag at midday, Forbes meets Parkes in the first grade elimination semi final.
Magpies’ club president Greg Grogan says the fans are guaranteed a great game whenever the twin towns meet.

“It’s a big weekend for the club and rugby union as well,” Grogan said.
He expects the first grade game to kick off about 4pm. Game preview page 20.
