Aileen Allen said the Dreaming Centre wanted to offer the community a chance to get involved in Wiradjuri culture.
As part of the celebrations a traditional smoking ceremony and cleansing dance were performed along with a performance from the Forbes North Public School Wiradjuri choir.
Mrs Allen said she hoped next year’s celebrations would be bigger and better.
