This is your opportunity, bring it along to the Council’s annual household chemical cleanout event on Monday October 23.
Hazardous houshold chemicals can be dropped off at the Council depot in Bandon Street between 9am and 12pm.
The Cleanout is the perfect opportunity to dispose of the hazardous items that cannot be sent to landfill according to Council’s Facebook page, Find it in Forbes.
Items which cannot be sent to landfill include: solvents and household cleaners; fluorescent globes and tubes; car batteries; motor oils, fuels and fluids and pesticides and herbicides.
Only household quantities will be accepted with a maximum of 20L or 20kg container size.
