Liz said, I will not take the jack off and the next thing Liz took the jack off Betty Mc. Betty picked the jack up with her bowl, taking it to the end of the mat where no one could get near it.
We played six bowls triples. The winners were Sue, Liz and Joyce with three wins and 28 points. The runners up were Denny, Doreen Rogers and Vera with two wins, one loss and 19 points.
Chocolate went to Wilma’s team with Betty Rees and Laraine Sullivan. The competition was won by Wilma, Sue and Vera.
On Sunday Cowra had their open day with Sandy and Wilma Hepburn, Denny and Sue Smith, Liz England, Joyce McKenzie, and Joan Littlejohn all attending.
The Forbes teams had an equal amount of wins and points, so the first and second prize were shared among them.
