President Wilma Hepburn welcomed 31 members to the last meeting and introduced Cr Phyllis Miller as the returning officer for our AGM.

Wilma presented her report on the past year’s club activities and thanked all those who contributed in any way. The Treasurer’s report was given by Elvy Quirk.
The new committee elected were; President: Fae Howard, 1st Vice President: Ilma Davis, 2nd Vice President: Jennifer Purdie, Secretary: Colleen Liebich, Treasurer: Elvy Quirk.
Management Committee: Judy Ellis, Jean Hodges, Wilma Hepburn and Pam Toole. Publicity Officer: Lyn Simmonds, Morning Tea Hostesses Jo O’Connor and Anne Walker, Guest Speaker Organisers: Carmel Murray and Mary Everson.
Wilma handed over the President’s Collar to Fae who went on to conduct the meeting.
Members were reminded of the Friendship Day to be held at Bathurst on May 16, with names to be given to the secretary. Members are also reminded that our Club memberships of $25 are now due.
Pam Toole reported that the Canberra trip on April 9 has 30 booked to attend.
President Fae will lay the wreath on Anzac Day to represent our club.
Hostesses for the meeting on Friday April 27 are June Lamb and Ilma Davis, where we will join the men for the guest speaker Forbes Shire Council General Manager Steve Loane.
Poems were read by several members to conclude our meeting.
