March and April have be busy months for Bogan Gate CWA, we hosted the Oxley Group Handicraft/Land Cookery Day on Tuesday March 6. Parkes, Forbes and Condobolin held their Annual Bridge Day at Bogan Gate on April 15, it is hard to believe this one was the 11th and we have catered for all of them.
Our President Marion McIntyre laid a wreath on behalf of CWA at our local Anzac Day Dawn Service.
There were nine members at our recent May meeting. The thought was given by Ros Edwards ‘the worst bankrupt in the world is the one who has lost his/hers enthusiasm.’
Our International officer Heather Veal gave us more interesting information of some famous people from Poland, our country of study.
Our plans to host the Orange Male Voice Choir on Sunday at 1.30pm are moving along nicely. Tickets are available at Betta Electrical for another couple of days. You can spend a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon listening to the fantastic voices of the Orange Male Voice choir, with Barry Patterson conductor and Heijin Kim as their accompanist. Our members will be providing a delicious afternoon tea.
Plenty to do and we hope to see a lot of rain soon for our farmers. We will see you all for our next meeting on Thursday June 21 at 1.30pm at the Hall and visitors are most welcome.
