Mr Rigall has been meeting with investors and customers in the electric vehicle supply chain in China and Japan.
He believes that projects like Clean TeQ Sunrise are an important bridge to demonstrate how the mining industry can meet the renewable energy challenges of the future, by bringing higher quality and lower cost raw materials.
Located near Fifield in Lachlan Shire, Clean TeQ Sunrise will make use of one of the largest cobalt deposits in the world and its future operations will position Australia as a major source of electric vehicle battery raw materials.
Mr Rigall hopes the community will take the opportunity to have their say about the project through the Independent Planning Commission process, either at the public meeting or via written submission.
