The finals were played between the two top teams on the point score ladder in each competition.
Ladies competition
Forbes Engineering defeated Golfie 44-33.
The game was closely contested with Forbes Engineering taking a slight lead in the first quarter, leading 7-5, and at half time 18-14.
Engineering’s Lisa Drane was strong throughout the court and Phoebe Costello kept her opponent at bay with her determined defence.
Golfie’s Jess Hodges made excellent intercepts and Sophie Prior was strong in defence with quick deflections.
The third quarter was again only separated by two goals, with Golfie making a come back to win the quarter by 12-10, and the overall score seeing the teams separated by two goals.
Golfie’s Belinda Southgate moved well in the attack circle to keep her team in the game.
Engineering’s Sonia Dukes showed huge determination in defence, defending every shot.
The fourth quarter saw Engineering play very determined netball winning the quarter 16-7, and taking our the final by 44-33.
