Forbes Magpies first grade meet Nyngan in another sudden-death semi-final this Sunday, and fans can expect an intense contest.
On the back of last weekend's come-from-behind triumph over the Spacemen at Parkes, coach Cameron Greenhalgh says he's feeling good.
"Everyone is training well, feeling fit and healthy," he said.
It's not the first time the Magpies have swooped when Group 11 finals came around.
"We knew what we had to do and we had that belief," Greenhalgh said of last week's win.
"We're concentrating week to week on who we play, our game plans change."
This week it's all about Nyngan, who sit third on the ladder just outside Wellington and Dubbo CYMS.
But the same principle applies, and if the Magpies can go into this weekend's contest with the right mindset and complete their game plan, the coach is confident.
And in good news for the squad, both captain Hayden Bolam and lock Tim Dukes were cleared in relation to a tackle in last week's game that saw Dukes appear before the judiciary.
The Magpies have three grades - including league tag and reserves - heading to Nyngan and hope the vocal Forbes fans will make the road trip to support them.
"Nyngan at Nyngan is tough," Greenhalgh said. "They're a very solid side and it's do-or-die footy, it's going to be intense."
After some to-and-fro about the availability of grounds during the week, the welcome announcement that major semi-finals could be played on Saturday at Dubbo was made on Thursday.
Forbes' under 18s meet Dubbo CYMS there.
They're also in form with a stunning win over Wellington last weekend, and hoping for a victory that will see them straight through to the grand final.
