The Under 13's, 15's and 17's squads have all qualified for their respective minor semi-finals - and this is the first time in recent memory that all three groups have done so in the same year.
President of Forbes Junior Rugby Union Craig Bruem said it was a credit to everyone involved in the teams that they had made it this far.
"It's a fantastic achievement for Forbes Junior Rugby Club to be the only club in the Central West to have all three grades represented in the semi-finals," Mr Bruem said.
Throughout the year, all three teams have maintained a strong position on their respective grade ladders against many of the other Central West clubs.
After playing home games last week, two of the three teams were able to bring home the win, further securing their place in the finals.
Last week's wins to both the Under 13s and Under 15s was able to help confirm a third placing for them both on the ladder.
While the Under 17s had a narrow loss to Mudgee last weekend, they were able to finish out the regular season sitting in fourth place.
Under 13s
Saturday's semi finals see our local Platypi junior Under 13s take on Wellington Redbacks at 9am.
The Under 13s were able to get the win over Wellington last weekend in Forbes and are looking to repeat this again as they set their eyes on making the grand final.
Under 13's Coach Pete Francis said their boys have worked extremely hard all year and it's great to see the team make it this far.
"Tomorrow, though, is going to be another tough game against Wellington, but we have prepared well and look forward to a close game," he said.
Under 15s
The Under 15s will be playing Cowra/Canowindra at 11:30am, which is sure to be a tight game for the boys.
Under 15's joint coach Dan Mattiske said this game will be an important test for them, but every final they make is a bonus.
Mr Mattiske said they have had good support from the parents throughout the season which has helped make it all happen.
Under 17s
The Under 17's will be playing against Orange City, which again is expected to be a very closely contested game.
Under 17's backs coach Dan Page said they are heading into the finals with some confidence as they have had good success against the other teams who made the finals earlier in the season.
They will take to the field at 2pm, and all three Junior Platypi games will be played at Victoria Park's number one oval.
Best of luck!
