The Forbes Lachlan River Archers are set to take aim this Sunday, February 9 for their first shoot of the year.

The archers will be shooting at their range located at the Cumbijowa Reserve on the Lachlan River situated approximately 16km from Forbes, off the Lachlan Valley Way.
Club member Don Ruttan said the Forbes Lachlan River Archers are always looking for new members and people are welcome to come out and give the sport a try.
The Archery Club have several adult and child-sized bows for people to give the sport a try.
For those wishing to give the sport a try, you can join the Forbes Archery Club at three shoots before choosing to become a member.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The range will be open from 9am for the practise shoot with a three-arrow round kicking off the shoot at 10am.
There will be canteen services available with soft drinks and snacks.
The Archery Club will be hosting regular shoots every second Sunday.
