The 2020 season is expected to commence on Saturday, July 25 for the Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16s squads. The competition will be played over nine rounds finishing with the grand finals on September 26.
President of Forbes Junior Rugby Union Craig Bruem said all of the players are keen to get back out on the paddock and play footy.
While the Junior Platypi have been training for the last four weeks, they were only able to include contact training as of last week.
Mr Bruem said while they have seen changes in training and preparation such as including hand sanitiser and a focus on non contact training for the first two weeks, it has been a good start.
The draw for this year's season will be released to clubs on Friday, July 3.
In a post to Facebook, the Central West Junior Rugby Union said they would like to thank all players, parents, volunteers and clubs who have been working hard to get rugby on the field this year.
