Offensive graffiti has been spray painted on the church in a break-in, a Forbes police spokesperson said on Monday.
Offenders have also stolen a fire extinguisher and soft drink when they gained entry, between 7pm Monday and 7am Tuesday.
A local primary school was also targeted by vandals on Tuesday night. Police said the offenders gained entry to three classrooms and a staffroom, the forensic team was called in and the matter is under investigation.
There have been a number of incidents of trespassing and theft from the Daroobalgie landfill over night this week, and two washing machines were taken in a break and enter in Hill Street over the weekend.
In Eugowra, someone has gained access to a vehicle parked in Nanima Street but it does not appear anything has been taken.
A little further afield, NSW Police are appealing for information after multiple vessels belonging to the NSW State Emergency Services were damaged at Lake Cargelligo.
Between 5pm on Saturday and 7am Sunday, seven flood boats and rescue equipment belonging to the NSW SES were damaged.
The vessels had been anchored to the lake foreshore following a rescue training day.
Police established each boat had been damaged, nine fire extinguishers had contents emptied and thrown into the water, and a lifejacket containing a safety kit, radios and a box of flares were stolen.
