The December Rotary Ipomoea market will be held in Victoria Park as this will be set up as a COVID-safe venue for carols by candlelight that night.
Rotary Ipomoea organisers say excited market stall holders are booking in fast, as there hasn't been a market since April.
Stallholders and the general public must be double vaccinated and show their proof; the venue will be fenced with a single entry point near the Cenotaph to allow for check-in and compliance with the requirements of the current public health order.
There will be a Christmas theme on December 11 with a big variety of plants, produce, home cooking and sewing as well as vintage stalls and bric-a-brac stalls.
The Rotary Breakfast caravan will be attending so a hot breakfast will be available.
Rotary Ipomoea members will have a very large stall featuring plants, raffle and produce.
The market will finish at 12 noon and all stallholders will be packed up and gone by 1pm in time for set up for Carols by Candlelight that evening.
If you would like to book in a stall please call Helen 0427 201 445.
It's anticipated the change of venue will be a one-off and in 2022 the Rotary Ipomoea markets will be able to be held again in Lion's Park.
