The Club is indebted to the members and community gardeners generously sharing their gardens for the benefit of many charities/organisations of their choice, with gate takings divided between each garden's nominated organisation. Come to help celebrate the Club's 70th year by enjoying a weekend of gardens, art, and good food.
Registration is at the Forbes Riverside Community Gardens, 59-71 Reymond Street where you can buy a two-day pass to all 8 gardens for $20, or if you only wish to attend a couple of gardens you can pay $5 for each garden.
This is the place to collect your information flyer with the list of gardens and the map showing their locations. While there, grab a raffle ticket for $1 for your chance to win a $500 Find it in Forbes card. The raffle will be drawn on Sunday afternoon, so you won't have to wait long to hear if you are a winner. You will only be able to buy raffle tickets at Gardens 1 and 5.
Please note: We don't have card facilities, so you'll have to bring along real money for your entry to the gardens, raffle tickets and for lunch, morning/afternoon teas.
The Men's Shed is providing a BBQ lunch at Garden 5, 289 South Lead Road. Lunch will be available from 11am to 2pm. Money the Men's Shed raise will go towards supporting their Shed and community activities. The Men will also be selling morning and afternoon tea treats made with tender loving care by Garden Club members. Don't miss out on these country baked treats!
Art Lovers will discover at Garden 5 a "pop-up" garden gallery of whimsical mixed-media artworks by local creators, supported by Forbes Arts Society. Featured artworks will be available to purchase
