Adelaide United footballer Josh Cavallo has got down on one knee to propose to his partner at his club's home stadium.

Cavallo, the A-League men's first openly gay player, announced his engagement to Leighton Morrell in an Instagram post on March 13.
"Mr & Mr coming soon," he said alongside photos of the proposal at Coopers Stadium.
"Thank you Adelaide United for helping set up this surprise. Your endless support has meant so much to me.
"You have provided a safe space in football, one that I never in my dreams thought could ever be possible, and encouraged me to live everyday of my life authentically.
"It felt right to share this special moment on the pitch, where it all started."
The 24-year-old midfielder made history in 2021 when he came out to the public.
Months later his club became the first in the A-Leagues to host pride games.
"It's been a journey to get to this point in my life, but I couldn't be happier with my decision to come out," he said at the time.
"I have been fighting my sexuality for six years now, and I'm glad I can put that to rest."
Three years on, Cavallo said the "enormous love" that flowed after the announcement had helped others "take their own step".
"This is why I chose to share my journey publicly, to help others feel that they're not alone," he said in February 2024.
"I can start to see a future path aligning with the LGBTQ+ community and football community together."
