Organisers have just announced that extreme freestyle motocross legends the Crusty Demons will be coming to Australia to perform at the boutique music festival right here on May 10 and 11.
The Crusty Demons are renowned for their radical, death-defying stunts, impressive world record jumps, backflips over helicopters and countless stunts combined with incredible production, a press release issued on Wednesday said.
They are set to bring their explosive show to the Central West for an exclusive pre-tour appearance at VANFEST. They will return for their national 'Rise of the Demons' arena tour in August 2019.
High-profile riders confirmed for the exclusive appearance, include:
Luke McNeill - 27 years old from the South Coast of Nowra NSW, Luke has been a professional rider for eight years. Luke won the Australian FMX Championship and was recently the Hollywood stunt double for Vin Diesel in the blockbuster hit XXX movie.
Brodie Markham - 28 Years old from Melton Victoria, Brodie has travelled all over Australia and China performing live Freestyle Motocross shows. Brodie is one of the most experienced show riders in the country.
Callum Shaw - 29 years old from New Zealand will be riding at Vanfest. Callum placed 3rd in the Redbull New Zealand farm jam international FMX Contest last year and has also travelled around NZ, Australia and China performing shows.
Dirt bikes, new tricks, carnage, are all set for one hell of a show. This performance is not something you are going to want to miss. Front flips, double backflips, 360's you name it.
Artists performing at VANFEST 2019 include PNAU, Golden Features, Broods, Ruel, Mallrat, Eves Karydas and more.
Festival founder Matt Clifton is thrilled about the line-up and said the social media response to the artist announcements had been the most exciting yet.
"The artists on the bill are at the top of their game," Clifton said. "Any of these are headline artists in their own right."
The iconic stage will be going up at Forbes Showground in the next few days, and camping is available on site.
It all starts Friday afternoon, May 10, and continues through Saturday night.
