It all starts in Victoria Park on Sunday morning, when historian Rob Willis presents Perambulating in the Park, sharing some of the tales of our historic town square in story and song.
With the law, the church and the pub all surrounding the square, there's no shortage of material to draw from.
On Tuesday night, the Forbes Medal and Forbes Heritage Volunteer Award will be presented to members of the community who have worked to preserve our history and tell Forbes' story.
The heritage art awards are also to be announced on the evening, and will be displayed at the event's new location at the Platypus Gallery in Lachlan Street.
Forbes and District Museum will host an open day Wednesday, you can head on down to Cross Street between 10am and 4pm to browse their exhibits which range from machinery to clothing and homewears.
Rounding out the week, the final panels in the Discovering Our Doctors series will be unveiled at Forbes Town Hall on Thursday night.
This popular series has now been rolling out since 2013, featuring numerous much-loved medical professionals and their incredible stories.
Doctors Untung Laksito and Katherine Stanley will feature this year, and there are further panels telling other parts of the story of local medical services to be revealed on the night.
