Victoria Park is the place, and carollers are asked to allow plenty of time to get settled as there will be just one entry point opposite Town Hall where you need to show your proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
Coordinator Jenelle Toole says 7pm is a good time to head to the park for a sausage sizzle from the Lions barbecue and a photo with Santa for just a donation to the Town Band before the main event.
There'll be pre-carols entertainment from Ruth Barnes and James Simpson, as well as Forbes Town and District Band, from 7 to 8pm.
Rotary Ipomoea will have your glow candles and headbands for sale, as well as tickets in a fundraiser raffle, so allow time to pick those up before finding your spot on the grass and settling in for a night of festive fun.
Our hosts this year are Kimberley Ryan along with James Whalan. They and Shannen Toole will be our entertainers for the evening.
GOOD TIMES: The fun of Carols 2019 in photos
They're teaming up with Forbes Town and District Band to bring all our carol favourites for the night.
Bring your chairs and picnic blankets (and probably your mosquito repellent and long clothing!).
Programs will be available at the gate and the lyrics will be on the inflatable big screen.
This is the 51st Forbes Carols by Candlelight and Mrs Toole says organisers are hoping everyone will come along and enjoy the event after unfortunately missing out on 2020 because of the COVID-19 measures.
She thanked Forbes Shire Council for their support in ensuring the event could go ahead in compliance with the current health orders, which do include a requirement to be double-vaccinated against COVID-19.
The Town Hall has been booked in case of wet weather, but at time of writing conditions were expected to clear up.
